As everyone makes plans to celebrate and enjoy the 4th of July holiday, the city would like to remind Herreid residents of the holiday hours for shooting off fireworks.

Per city ordinance /code 7.12.010

July 1- July 3: No discharging fireworks after 12:00am (midnight) or before 8:00am the next day.

JULY 4TH : No discharging fireworks after 1:00am

July 5th-6th: No discharging fireworks after 12:00am (midnight) or before 8:00am the next day.
